Original book illustrations by award-winning artist and author Tracy Eire

You've poured your heart into writing your book. Now give readers a reason to stop scrolling and discover it.

Imagine your characters brought to life in a beautiful, traditionally painted, and digitally prefected illustration. A cover that captures the atmosphere of your story, stands out in a crowded bookstore, and looks extraordinary in the hands of a BookTok creator.

That's what I want to create for you.

I'm Tracy Eire, an award-winning fantasy illustrator and professional fantasy and science fiction author. I combine an artist's eye with a storyteller's understanding of what makes characters compelling, worlds unforgettable, and readers eager to discover what happens next.

And I believe beautiful book artwork should be within reach of independent authors—not just publishers with enormous budgets.

AN ILLUSTRATOR WHO THINKS LIKE A STORYTELLER.

A beautiful painting captures the eye. A great book cover captures the imagination.

As both a professional artist and published writer, I understand that book covers do more than look beautiful, they make a promise to the reader. A promise of adventure. Of romance. Of danger, magic, mystery, or discovery. A glimpse of the emotional experience waiting inside the pages.

Because of my expertise in art and master's degree in publishing, I understand colour, design, composition, but also character development, narrative tension, genre expectations, and the visual language that helps readers recognize the kind of stories they love.

When we work together, I'm not just asking what your characters look like. I'm interested in what their journey is, who they are, what makes your story special. I'll need to know what you want readers to feel when they first encounter your book. This will help me bring the cover to life with a mixture of traditional and digital art techniques.

You bring the story. I'll help bring its promise to life.

MY AWARD-WINNING ART HAS BEEN
PUBLISHED IN A BESTSELLING ANTHOLOGY.

Single divider.png

I'm proud to be a winner of the international Illustrators of the Future competition, with two of my original paintings published in Writers of the Future, Volume 42—an Amazon #1 New Release Bestseller.

The anthology was also recognized as the 2026 New York City Big Book Award winner for Best Anthology.

My illustrations accompany two very different stories:

  • "Shell Game" by Zach Poulter

A dark, suspenseful science fiction thriller about a detective caught in a terrifying struggle involving body-snatching immortals.

  • "Thickly" by Dorothy de Kok

An unsettlingly gorgeous speculative fiction exploring beauty, identity, and the dangers of big pharma creating a new you.

Two different authors building two completely different worlds resulted in two paintings created to capture the emotional heart of each story.

That's what I want to bring to your book.

As a writer myself, I know how much work goes into creating imaginary worlds and characters that feel real. I understand how personal those creations can be, and how important it is to find an illustrator who respects the work.

I've been in your shoes... and my artwork has helped lift a book up to Bestseller status.

READERS DO JUDGE BOOKS BY THEIR COVERS.

And you know it. Experienced independent authors understand just how important that first impression can be.

In Written Word Media's 2025 Indie Author Survey, participating authors ranked cover design as the most important factor in selling books, across experience levels and income groups.

In another survey, conducted for ThriftBooks in 2023, 57% of American adults surveyed said they'd bought or read a book based solely on its cover.

A beautiful, genre-appropriate cover is more than a decoration, it's an invitation. It tells readers what kind of experience awaits them. It creates curiosity, establishes atmosphere, and gives your book a recognizable visual identity.

You don't necessarily need to spend thousands of dollars to achieve that. What matters is choosing artwork that works for your story, your audience, and your budget.

A cover can't guarantee sales. But it can help make the first impression your story deserves.

Your book. Your Moment.

Single divider.png

Picture it.

Your beautiful new book is sitting on a table, its cover catching the light. Someone reaches her hand to slowly turn it toward the camera.

The cover artwork fills the screen.

And readers stop scrolling.

That's the kind of moment a visually compelling book cover can create.

Your original illustration can also become the foundation for beautiful promotional materials, from realistic three-dimensional book mockups and dramatic cover reveals to eye-catching social media graphics, launch announcements, and website imagery.

Because I paint traditionally, the process of creating your illustration can become part of your book's story, too. Where included in your commission, artwork-in-progress photographs or process content can help introduce your readers to the human creativity behind the cover.

Invest in your visual identity and support your book long after launch day.

Your story can make an unforgettable impression. I'd love to hear what you're imagining.
